I finally resized my pictures of our 1988 Wellcraft Aruba 232. This is the boat in her slip on the Hewitt Lift. We bought the boat and lift for $6500. We did have the exhaust manifolds, water circulating pump, thermostat and oil changed for less than $1000, and it now has a SS prop on it after I spun the dinged up aluminum one. She has a 350 Magnum and Alpha 1 Outdrive. No she's not perfect, but we love her nonetheless. :)

As far as I know, she has never been painted, and has always been stored on a lift. The hull looks nice, despite a few blemishes, huh?

Looks real nice. I think the only boats that don't get a few blems are the ones that aren't used.

Had a great half day of fun today! I am getting more confident and acclimated to the boat and water. I can get in plane pretty well now.

Her sweet spot is at 3700-3900 RPM and 31-32 MPH (by GPS). The temp holds at around 150-160 steadily. She cruises fine at this speed and can tow the tubers fine.

We love our old boat!

I have the CC version of that hull with twin SeaDrive outboards. Great riding boat and way overbuilt. I did have had the transom replaced due to rot in the plywood core. This was due to the idiot who mounted the engines not sealing everything properly and not the fault of Wellcraft.
