Just as a summary, both out-drives had water in them. Both has bad seals around the shaft where the shifter is. No bad prop seals, no bad input shaft seals. We caught this just in time, both outdrives were leaking oil badly. Port O/D has a torn boot, starboard was dry. Both water adapters were changed and needed it badly, hoses were not changed. They looked 'ok' and we ran out of time. Couldnt get the props off so the anodes were not changed there. Ill let the pics tell the rest. :)

It wasnt as slimy and dirty as I thought it would be. The boat as been in the water since 1990 so considering that it wasnt bad at all. Once they dried they looked ok. Sad thing is, the paint on those out drives looks 100% better than the paint on our 2007 Volvo sx .

No busy work here. When we get to the boat we sit around and try our best to do nothing. :)

Surprised no one has asked what those shiny clamps and bolts are.:)

It's obvious, A reverse hold down, and a trim adjuster pin.

Sure is, that's the best way we could find to hold the outdrives down for good. Don't need tilt and trim on this boat anyway but we need the outdrives to stay down good. Before this they had steel cables wrapped around them which made steering pretty hard. Either way, feels good to have the bellows changed and the water leaks fixed.
