The foam is back in, and the gas tank repaired, so tomorrow I will work on installing it and starting to fit the new deck.

Awesome boat York, thanks for the kind words. I would recommend strip and a light polish on the bottom, you don't have to worry about scratched and scuffed paint and maintaining the bottom is very easy, no one sees it anyway.

I was thinking the same thing, with the bottom. Since I've started the rebuild, flipping her is not an option. I've been trying several options on polish but can't get the mirror shine that I'm looking for. I've viewed some YouTube videos and think maybe some sanding before polishing is my mistake. Right now, I'm trying to figure out why my posted photos have disappeared

If you renamed any of the pix in your PB acct, or moved them around to different folders, the link posted is broken so the PB pix don't show up in post #22

Thanks. I moved the pics without thinking, but fixed the issue.

Ok, 2 years has been long enough. I've made some progress on the old girl, this summer. I'll be posting some pics shortly.
