finding parts for pre alpha

hi im ready to order water pump or kit. all seals etc, but a little confused on what model it is a 78 ser# 4523808 and was told it is a mod 1. so when i order parts is it #1 r/mr or alpha1? i just want to get right the first time, thanks ken

don't know what engine ya have, or year.....

but i think that the 1, r, mr, alpha1 all use the same water pump rebuild kit....
