Finding the correct shift cable

I need to replace my shift cable, but cant seem to find any specific replacement parts, I see different lengths and am not sure how to find out which one you need. Do I need to pull it out first? Ive got a 2006 Larson Senza 206 5.0L GXi-F with SX-M1 drive

look at the existing cable, many times the length is printed on it. if not, pull the cable or measure in the boat.
