Finding the serial number

i just bought a 1991 16 ft aluminum Mirrorcraft fishing boat, It has a 1991 30 hp 2 stroke Suzuki outboard motor. My problem is I can’t find the serial number on the motor. I’ve seen pictures that shows the serial number plate on the boat/motor bracket. It is not there. Does anyone have any idea on where the serial number/model number plate might be or if it is embossed anywhere on the motor?

I also need to verify the gas/oil mix. Is it 50 to 1?
