I have to say, that is an interesting boat. And I like the design myself. Keep posting the progress and pictures. :thumb:

Well that is a nice wide open place to work on a boat. :thumb:

I'll have to build a 50 sqm dust tent around it though, the multimillion euro yachts around it need to not get my fiberglass on them. But nevertheless, 300m from home and warm! The boat looks tiny in comparison, but then again so do the problems!

Red I can understand that. However, just make certain YOU use respirator and proper PPE when you sand and/or grind her...

I sure will! That stuff is nasty enough on the skin, just imagining it in my lungs makes me shiver.

I haven't been around in awhile but just want to say she looks GREAT! Workmanship, detail, patience is quite obvious. Keep the pics a coming.
When you are done with that sweet boat how are you going to use her?

Thanks kcassells! It'll be used for sport fishing, diving and for filming on water. And just general archipelago-hopping I guess. This and that. Might do some longer trips as well.

I see the boat made it to it's new home. Looks like a nice place to finish the modifications. How was the journey?

I didn't do much, but according to the invoice all went well. It's always a bit surprising how easy and relatively cheap it seems to be to transport huge piles of stuff in comparison to personal travel and renting cars etc.

Awesome work and a gorgeous boat, Red. Been lurking and enjoying since day one. Love that big prop too. Bet it really puts a bite on the water.

Do you think you have enough supplies and equipment there. Looks like you are not holding back on anything. :thumb:

Haha, yeah it's true. I've stockpiled on stuff just to avoid delays fetching this and that. Will probably be left with a lot of it afterwards.

Boat is looking awesome Red. I really like the pilot house. Are you going to set up some system to exchange air in your enclosure? BTW, that looks like a massive building...

Thanks! Yeah I'm going to try and build this makeshift ventilation/dust control system that will hopefully suffice. Basically one filtered hole down low pushing air in and one filtered hole higher up pushing air out. The building is immense, I'm surrounded by 85 footers and now they're bringing in something even bigger today. Makes my problems feel smaller :D
