I should also add different rope lengths also play a big roll in how you cut, and control yourself on the board as well as rope types. We use the spectra thermal coated lines bc there is no stretch on them at all because we found the rope lines were very bouncy and not very good for our style of riding. Another big thing is the spectra is a very durable rope and has a great lifespan, mind we we still are able to kink it good bc were very aggressive with it and ride 2-3 times a week minimum, but they will last you at least a few seasons if your not a very aggressvie rider.
