Re: fire damage to outboard

Hi Woodshole,
If the fire was caused by the outboard, look for a fuel leak before anything else. However if the fire damage was caused by some external fire, just replace the parts that were damaged, and give it a try. Pay attention to all insulated wires, hoses, and plastic parts as these tend to suffer the most damage from heat.
Good luck

Sorry about your engine, Woodshole.

Almost. . . . is right on.

The best manual for your '93 'Rude 90 is the Factory Manual. Try their website.

Good luck. :)
