FIGHTS !!!!

Yup, must be a new sport in Gloucester. Anchored off Wingarsheek Beach saturday night, noticed a bunch of kids heading to shore after the beachgoers left. Saw the tents getting set up so figured there was going to be a beach party. Soon after dark I start hearing/seeing fireworks, nothing fancy but I broke out the binoculars anyways. Next thing I know the fireworks are going horizontal instead of vertical, and I hear some yelling and screaming. These two guys, I'll call them Billy Bob and Bubba, are shooting something that resembled Roman Candles at each other. They must have figured out a "safe" distance to stand from each other, and I could hear them making up the rules as they went along, "first shot has to go straight up". So I see 1, 2, 3, shots go about 30 feet past Billy Bob, then "Blam" the guys govered with sparks and starts running and screaming. Now it's his turn to shoot back at Bubba, 1,2, 3 shot's over Bubba's head, then, "Blam", he gets hit. These two stupid ****s must have done this at least a dozen times. First time I could hear a couple of girls scream, but after a while everyone was laughing. I guess they had the distance worked out where there was no harmful impact from the fireworks, but I'd think some sort of eye protection would still be needed.

I can hear these kid's parents when they got home the next day, "What did you do last night", "Nuttin", "Where'd you guys go", "To the beach".....

Guess parents are better off NOT knowing some things!

Did anyone see this stunt on that show-Jackasss???

Oh, and I caught the injury report the next morning, no one was hurt from the fireworks, but the guy that walked through the fire in his bare feet, that's another story..........
