My 1992 4.3LX with Thunderbolt IV ignition needs to be redone on the spark plug wires. I had my distributor out while replacing my intake gasket and I forgot which order to put the plug wires. I know that my firing order is 1,6,5,4,3,2. I have the timing mark set on top dead center and the distributor set to the number one spark plug position.

can someone post a diagram of the plug wire layout. I could download the service manual, but it takes me40 minutes to download and my computer won't save the file.

Re: Firing order

Are you looking for the wire position on the cap? If so you can just lift cap off and see where the rotor is and put #1 on there and go in firing order clockwise.

Why can't you save the file?
