Hi everyone,

I just had a boat inspected for me 90' campion allante 185.

Few issues came up.

- Bildge pump not working
- Wipers not working
- No master battery switch

Im looking for information on a ruff cost and ease of replacing these items

Ayuh,... Bilge pumps run $50., 'n up... 'bout the same for a battery switch....

Wipers are optional, 'n you can see what's wrong with 'em if you'd like...
I ran the wires for mine 10 years ago, 'n never got around to hookin' 'em up...

Re: First Boat Inspection - Fixes/Questions

if that's all you have you did well. that's the sort of thing that needs attention all the time.

If you don't have 2 batteries you don't need the switch although I recommend them especially for a moored boat.
Bilge pump is essential.
Wipers are not important.

As for cost, it doesn't matter--your shopping list is nothing compared to typical boat expenses. Just fix the items you need and don't worry about cost.
