HA I grew up ramming around in a similar little boat with a 4HP. I probably should have kept it for sentimental reasons.

I have used my 4HP deluxe a number of times on an Alumacraft my uncle has. It doesn't plane but certainly gets you there.

It was probably because you were much lighter
