Congrats on the rig man!! Nice little rig there... whatever way you end up going with for the interior layout no doubt it will be great. Many possibilities as others have mentioned!

Enjoy!!!

Bruce, the Honda is a 2hp. Might just push her at trout speed.

GA, the shed isn't quite ready yet, although she is living with my little Kubota under the lean-to portion. The Admiral and I are putting up plywood and tin on the inside walls and we're waiting for the electric company to lay in the line and new transformer. We also have these nasty road restrictions right now that keep me from getting gravel and concrete trucks up the hill.

Doors are on in two weeks, and I do have generator lighting, so I may just start on her floor and transom before the shed is done.

nice. I like those so much i have 2 of em. the cool thing is they're completely air cooled so they're great for seriously shallow water....even the air cooled motors of yore like Eskas (usually sold as Gamefishers) used a water pump to cool the exhaust. i get about 7-8 mph out of one on my 12' portabote, and i recall someone on the MacGregor forum claiming that it pushed their 25-26' Mac at 5 mph. and unbelievably reliable....i once lost the oil drain plug (be SURE it's very securely tightened against 1 cyl vibes)and had to make it 6-7 miles home with a rag stuffed in hole and motor way low on oil....no apparent damage.

Looks like you scored yourself a nice tin there. It does look in pretty good condition. Salmon fishing!!!! That's my game and it seems you can never have enough room at the back of the boat when you have a thrashing king trying to make a mess out of your lines in its attempt to regain freedom. Sounds like you have the same dilemma as many fishermen, really needing a couple different size rigs for different types of fishing. Congrats on this purchase and good luck on your next.

Nice find. I love those 14' runabouts. I'd love to take one for a cruise.
