Hello all. After a wonderful Army career I finally find myself in one place long enough to take on a restoration project. Always wanted to make something old new again and being that I grew up in Florida around the water with a boat in the family it just seams logical.

I settled in Ohio and plan on being here for a few more years. Been lurking here for a while and really like the starcraft ss. Having a tough time finding one but did come across this. Just looking for thoughts on the price and more importantly if this may be too much for my v6 ranger to tug back and forth.

Thanks,
Jay

I think I would have to jump on that.It looks like the price is right. As far as the Ranger pulling it ,look at owners manual and see what you can pull.

Try this. Its a link to a great tool that searches ALL of craigslist nationwide. If you click that link it will give you a huge list of startcrafts.
http://craiglook.com/all.html?q=starcraft

Or just go here http://www.craiglook.com and type in the 'search' box above and you will be amazed at the research one can do with that tool

Hope it helps!

Use craiglook all the time. There are a couple on there but just too far to travel. Think I am going to go look at the one I linked to and offer 600. All they can do is say no. I do like the looks of it and should fill the bill of fishing and pulling someone on a tube across the water while having that nice classic look and feel to her.

Welcome...

That's one of those deals I would have to grab, and put it in the back yard for the future. That's a great deal!

Keep us updated!

I took one look at the pics, didn't even read the details,
and I know I'd grab it yesterday.

So are you gonna enlist in the navy now?:p

If it's an 18' than I'd imagine it's a Holiday. Have you been down to the Starcraft section of this site yet? There's a TON of SC enthusiasts on here.

Hey Jay,

I am also retired army and getting into boats for the fun of it, I retired in 2006 after 26 years.

That boat you found looks like a good one..
