My questions will be generally around Pontoons and the 24' 1998 or 99 Sun tracker series.

First question. it says tha 87 is ok on the engine information.. but my brother says don't put 87 into it. Did I ruin something? I went out and bought 109 octane booster. He says I should only pout 92 in there... not from AMPM but from Chevron only.

Also, when I took at the plugs today they looked like this:

<a href="http://s1098.photobucket.com/albums/g373/brycerichert/boat%20engine%20pictures/?action=view&current=IMG_2763.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/g373/brycerichert/boat%20engine%20pictures/IMG_2763.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Tje engine skipss up at around 3000 so we need to cruise around 8-10 mph... it's fun, vbu twe just an't get to the other side of the lake fast wtih fifeteen on it .

You get absolutely no advantage in running octane booster or using higher octane fuel. In fact higher octane fuel is specified for engines with higher compression to reduce the tendency to detonate or spark knock. Your engine is not high compression and has no engine management computer (ECU) or knock sensor so you are simply wasting money. The plug looks ok. What may be an issue is water in the fuel or the carburetors may be due for disassembly, thorough cleaning, reassembly with new parts and then properly adjusted.

Says 87 on the tag, I would go with 87.

Believe me, as time goes on you'll have allot more deal with than what type of gas to put in the tank;)
