Ok well this is my first boat restoration I have a 1987 bayliner capri I basically got for free. I got the motor running so i am going to be doing a full restore as I like projects and it will keep e out of trouble all winter. So the floor is shot I have approximately 70% of it removed I used a thermal imaging camera to check the transom and stringers are dry I plan to take core samples later to verify. my plan is to get all the bad wood out and replace with 3/4 pressure treated lumber. I am planning to use bondo to fill in any gaps in the plywood seams (not sure if this is a good idea or not but I know my carpentry kills there will be 1/2 in gaps haha) then use fiberglass cloth and resin over all the seams and just resin on the entire surface. does this sound right? Also do i resin just one surface of the plywood or borom what I read I should only do one as it will allow the wood to breath rather than trap water
