Re: First shave in 15 years

It's hot in Southern Indiana so I got a wild hair (pun intended) and shaved my beard of 15 years.
I didn't know I had waddle chins!!! Guess I'll grow it back as soon as the weather turns colder.

Al Gore shaved his beard some time back. Maybe this is a Global Warming thing!!!!

Guess that kinda blows any immediate chance of you going on tour with ZZ Top. Although the drummer, Frank Beard, doesn't have one so maybe there IS a chance. Rock on, dude.;):D

Re: First shave in 15 years

I've only shaved mine off once in 35 years. I use a hair clipper with one of the combs on it to keep it trimmed to about a 1/2 inch. I was trimming away one time and all of a sudden something felt different. I looked down and the comb piece was sitting in the sink, and I had a bald stripe under my chin.

I figured I could walk around for a few months with my chin tucked down low, or shave the rest off and start over.

The wife almost had a heart attack when sh came into the house and saw a stranger in sitting in the chair.

Yeh, but the "nighttime relations" can be different. The wife can pretend she's cheating with a stranger.:D

Damn, what a difference.
You should have robbed a bank first!
I've had a beard since I was 16y.o.
I keep mine tighter than yours - I polish a chair with my *** for a living.
Got a scar on my chin I've never seen.

Kiwi Phil.

And uh matey, it's a Man Cave/Boat Barn, not a shed:p

It's good to have a retreat. I have a shop - not a garage. The back door has a sign on the outside "Men". On the inside of the door "Women". This makes sure everyone is headed in the right direction.
I keep threatening to install a urinal just to make a statement. (The trunk for septic system goes under the slab).

I have never grown a beard or moustache (other than not shaving for a few days)
How long did it take to shave that back down to the wood ????

Re: First shave in 15 years

After 40 years I did the same thing a couple of months ago. I kept a "stash" for security. Then a goatee'. Now just the "stash". Everybody says I look better. Wonder why they didn't tell me sooner! Maybe I don't look good either way!
