Okay, so I decided to take the boat out one beautiful spring day after getting it out of storage. It was a weekday, no one on the lake, perfect weather. I was so excited!!

I go through the motions, making sure the straps are off, plug is in, etc. (Made the plug mistake last year). I back down into the water and try to trim down the stern drive. It isn't budging!! I go through everything I did in my head and figured I had done everything. I try to trim it up, and then back down. Still nothing. So I pull the boat out and walk back to look at the drive - and what do you know? The plastic trim supports are still on!!! UGH!!!

So much for writing "Got Plug" on them...I didn't even LOOK at them!!!

I'm so glad it wasn't a busy ramp that day!! 8)

Yeah....know what you mean Rick.....me and the better half took the starcraft to the river last year for an evening along the Muddy Banks.......She's in the boat, I back her in, she fires it up and goes afloat. I park the truck. She's at the dock...."quit running" she says.

"No problem" says I...."I'm a wrench". Half hour later, still at the dock. Then I notice the fuel line is disconnected from the motor and just hanging there.

DOHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! Had done a little work on the 90 before we went. Forgot to reconnect the fuel line at the motor.

Got fuel.....hit the key....she starts as always....we go for a ride.

That's embarassing.....:$

Then what's worse.....I splash it all over iboats forums.....

You just learn something. Always double check. I did something like that before so noting to worry about. You got the problem fixed and you had a good trip, that 's all that counts
