My family had our first Thanksgiving by ourselfes this year. Everybody in my family went to New York to see my Neice march in the Macys parade. We couldnt make it with my new job and a 6 month old baby.
I cooked the whole meal. The 20 lb Turkey turkey was perfect (my first), stove top stuffing and scalloped potatoes were a breeze and taste great.
The only thing we dont have is great pumpkin and pecan pie.
No big deal, I am fat enough.
It was really nice to be able to something as a family with having all the other parts involved. But I missed all the fighting.
