First tiller motor

Picked up an old V bottom with a Merc on it.
Was finally able to get it fired off and running.
Looking at ordering a water pump kit, and maybe a fuel pump as well. Can anyone confirm the year and size?
Title says '86 / 25hp.
Serial tag says A147708

Agreed 25 HP.-----But fill the bucket to overflowing to test water pump.-----Pump is not self priming.

It has some flow. You can see in the pic, the tell tale hose looks larger in diameter than I expected. Can you say if that's original or make shift?
Seems like my other outboards had a hose closer to the size of a straw, making the tell tale more of a jet of water than a dribble.

That hose is not right should be about a 1/4" Id at most. To fix the fuel pump buy the complete carb kit that has the primer also
