I saw a few similar posts but didn't want to threadcrap, thus starting my own. :)

Boat is a 1999 Baja 272 with the 502 MAG MPI. It sits on the lift through the central Texas "winter." Last year I had someone do this and I watched him winterize, I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything as this was only our second season with a boat and first time winterizing on my own:

1. Fuel is currently at about 1/4 remaining, planning to add PRI-G equivalent to 100 gallons (I think this is 10oz).
2. Purchased the STA-BIL fogging oil and last time the person did this, he turned on the boat and I believe he let the engine get to normal temperature, fogged the intake and revved the engine a couple times. He did this sequence a few times but I can't remember how much fogging oil was needed.
3. Are there 5 or 6 drain plugs in the engine? I can only locate 5.

Didn't run much on the lake this year, maybe a total of 30 hours. Planning to change the fluids at the start of the season as I'm not able to get the boat out of the lake due to the lack of rain. Batteries will be removed and trickled in the garage.

Does this list sound about right? Any thoughts/corrections are appreciated.

Your list looks OK, except . . .

pull the hoses off the exhaust manifolds and let them drain,

Make sure you find the drain that is on the oil cooler, or just pull the inlet hose off of it.

I usually change oil, etc. in the spring.

I would never leave old acidic oil in an engine for the entire off season. Change it now, then you don't have that issue and your good to go in the spring.

Thanks for the tips. Any ideas on how much spray I use to fog the motor? Or even like x # of seconds? I don't think it was that much but I'm not clear on how much is enough.

with engine running, spray the fogging oil as heavy as you can without stalling the engine. Once you have a good cloud of smoke coming out the exhaust, hit it as hard as you can and stall the engine. If you can't stall the engine, have someoene else kill the engine while your sparying as much as you can get in. As long as you have a good cloud of smoke, your good.

i'm no pro on this mpi 502. but i'm under the understanding that ya don't use fogging on fuel injected engines. i think ya use 2 stoke motor oil mixed with fuel and fed to the engine via the water/fuel separator..

if i were the op. i think i'd go read the oem service manual (23 in your case for a '99 502) as to the proper procedure per mercruiser to winterize it. look on pp 1B-45 and 46...
