First timer on Merc motors, Water pump help

Been wrenching on chryslers and OMC outboards but dam this outboard is giving me troubles! Cannot find anything on this motor, the S/N is 0G845169C. Need to find a manual and waterpump for sure. Model number is 20ML year 1999. Also taking out lower unit is a pain, cannot find the throttle nut that youtube has located in mid section and cannot take off lower unit? any input is appreciated. I also heard I have to take off the shift cable under the carb to remove lower unit?

I think you might have added the C to the end of the s/n. It probably is 0G854169.

You must have Adobe Acrobat reader installed to use this manual. If you scroll down to the lower part of the opening page, you will see the various engine components in red. Click on the one you want and when the first page opens, click on the "Save As" icon at the top LH corner of the page and you can save it to your computer.

You will see the procedure for LU removal under Section Gear Housing, page 6A-12, para 4 for two strokes. You do not have to undo any cables, just find the retainer that you see in the service manual and rotate it to free the upper end of the shift shaft which is seen as item 31 in this link from the parts list:
