I looked for the largest stock oil pan that I could find. Yes , Thats my Bayliner in the back ground. That's another very big project for latter ( my scbadiving boat) You can see more of the boat on www.Shareaproject.com under "FRANKENBOAT"

Re: First Timer

Well on to the carb. I rebuild the carb and after I took it apart everything looked good inside. I cleaned everything and put in a new kit.

I installed a marine grade ele. fuel pump because this was a 1995 Chevy 4.3L block with no place to install a manual fuel pump.

Re: First Timer

Thanks Bob, I have a few more pics of the engine to download and I will be starting the engine soon. I plan to have a youtube video of that. I have to work on figuring out how to get the clips of youtube on this site.

Thanks, Bruce

Re: First Timer

While the engine was out I thought I would clean the bilge and come up with a idea of the rear seat and sunpad. The things you can do with large cardboard.

I wanted to design the back seat and cover so I could remove everything but the sunpad to do any large maintance. It will make it easyer to remove/install the spark plugs and work with the manifold if need be.

Well , The engine is in it's place. Time to wire everything up and the hoses. I removed the carb. so the chain wouldn't damage it.:D
