We catch the eel out in Bodega near the Coast Guard station. I find hunting them down pretty fun. More so than cast and sit shore fishing, which I am heading out to do today....looks like rain too, lol.

Yep thats a dogfish or i like to call them salmon sharks. pretty common up here in Puget Sound. I hooked alot of while trolling for salmon, guess they love my herring bait. But thats a big one!

For all you know what's in the picture could be racoon. So if it's deep fried, yum yum.:D Not that I'm saying there's anything wrong with deep fried racoon.;)

that's a dogfish. sharks urinate thru their skin hence the ammonia smell, if you don't clean them immediately and correctly the filets are worthless. I rarely eat shark because they're too much work and there's too many other better eating fishing here.

yep dog fish. i like to eat them but cut ther head off as soon as u get them in the boat.
