Heres one I'm sure ladies can relate too.. I go on what I thought was a real Fish Date.. "You know both bring poles." I meet him at the boat ramp and we set off in his boat, we go about a good 7 miles up Sac. to a nice rocky area in the river. Great for trout fishing.. We were going to do some back trolling with crickets, At least that is what was in my mind.. So I'm getting my pole ready while he is driving the boat and I hear this "YOU MEAN YOUR REALLY GOING TO FISH?" Huhhhhhhhhh.. I didn't realize that he didn't have his pole with him.. Stupid me, Good thing I knew Him.. Well, I then said, "I hope you know how to steer and back troll this boat, becuase I'm here to fish." If not drop me off over there and I'll walk home.. We have been friends for 7 years now and we still laugh over that day.. It starts out, "Do you remember our first fish date". Then I hear this, "OH God please don't tell the guys that one".. There is nothing like watching 3 guys choke on a can of beer.. With tears in there eyes from laughing and ears a-just-on-fire listening..<br /> Oh, I have heard all the funny remarks that day..by all of them... <br />Best of all I did catch 2 big rainbow trout..So the day wasn't a complete loss and I didn't have to walk home.. I clearly outlined the meaning of fish date, so that won't happen again to me.. Besides I hate walking..
