Fish Finder / GPS

I want to add a fish finder and a GPS to my boat. It doesn't much matter to me whether it's one unit or two. I've considered a GPS that I could also use in my vehicles and a fish finder, but I'm not averse to having a two in one unit.

Any suggestions. My budget is around $600.

Re: Fish Finder / GPS

goat herder,
i have a lowrance depth finder in my boat and i also use the lowrance Ifinder h20 hand held gps to navigate with.

you can get the gps for $169 just about any place. you can also purchase sd cards called fishing elite hotspot maps for regions around the country for about $99.

i also use the gps in my truck as well. it is very user friendly. my wife recently got me one of those $400 vehicle gps units, i used it for about 2 weeks and sent it back. i like the ifinder h20.
