fish finders

I have a Key West 1700 model. It is a side console with a 90 yamaha. I want to get a new fish finder/depth/speed. I have one on there currentally but it is very out dated. I have herd good things about hummingbird. i would like a small depth finder b/c space is mininum. what do yall susgest i dont need a very strong one b/c the water i go in isnt very deep but will installition be hard and how about accuracy

what model do u susgest. I would like an easy to read small but accurate machine. also i will mainly use this for speed and depth.

This is the one I have and it has worked great!(Sorry to all the Bird haters). Also have an older Eagle that has performed flawlessly. If I was to get an eagle, it would be the Fisheasy 2, as JB suggested.<br /><br /> Humminbird<br /><br />Also, the new Cuda from eagle. Both the cudas have surface water temp.<br /><br />Very few if any of the low end models are going to have speed.<br /><br />Best place to research the products, is on the manufacturers website.
