Hi to everybody!! :) <br />Im going to install a new fishfinder on my boat and I need to know the right way to do it.<br />The boat is usually used in the lake & river and depth varies a lot, also sometimes we use to put the boat on the sand or mud, so keep the mirror unbreaked is a mjor consideration. <br />Any advice about the best way and point to mount it?, the boat is a Maxum with a mercury outboard and is also used for skiing or pleasure.<br />Your feedback would be appreciated :D

Re: FISHFINDER INSTALLATION

i'll fill you in on a well known secret here in canada. we have been saving thousands of dollars on fancy electronics through a new plan introduced by the canadian government recently. in order to bolster the coffers of our navy and army in order to prepare for the imenant war with the marsians, they have been selling off their obsolete hand grenades for $5 canadain a box of 20! (that's $.03us for you silverking). we simply take a couple, pull the pins and hurl them over the side of the boat. wait about 5 minutes (just enough time to down a nice cold wobbly pop) and presto! the fish start rising to the surface. most just scoop them up with nets, but for old time sakes i bring along a spin casting rod and spend the rest of the day snaggin them. not much of a fight but when the fishin's this good... who can complain?

Ever hear of comedian Jerry Clower? I don't recall it exactly but jest of the story is this fellow out fishing with dynamite (which was highly illegal). Well, the game warden pulls up to his boat begins a long-winded lecture about what he's doing being wrong. As the game warden is carrying-on, the fellow lights another stick of dynomite and when the fuse about half gone, quietly hands it to the game warden whose too busy talking to realize he just took a light stick of dynamite. Suddenly the game warden realizes what he's holding and the fellow says "Now, are you gonna talk or fish?"<br /><br />BL...
