Re: Fishing Camera

are you guys speaking of an UW video camera? I bought a Sportscam with a 5 1/2 in screen and its awesome. I saw 10 muskies with it one day.
John

Re: Fishing Camera

Trent, I 've used 3 different UW cameras. here's my impressions. the aqua view's screen is much too small, about 2 1/2 inches. i saw a home made one with a bigger screen that I liked a lot more and then i used an Atlantis Sportscam that i liked alot. it was only 250 bux on sale at sports authority. it is their cheapest B&W model by has many nice features like infra red lights, big 5 1/2 in. screen and ni cad battery and charger, 60 ft cord and adjustable ballast. I've only used it on very clear water in a river and it sees about an 8 ft by 6 ft area. the picture is very clear but perspective is difficult at first. that is,it is difficult to tell the size of an object. I do think it would be considerably less effective in stained or muddy water.
john
