Fishing Date-Do you fish and want to go??

I like to fish, specially trout.. Well. I went this time with a guy friend.. Do you have a fishing pole? I asked him. Of course no.. No problem, I usaully take 5 poles and 2 fly rods for dinking around with. Plus 6 to 7 reels. Well we get to fishing spot and of course I asked him which way are you going to be fishing? Down river, good I'm headed up stream..This guy says in a voice a mouse would make. Your not leaving me alone are you. I just about died right there. Laughing of course. Now I am wondering what in the hek did I do bringing him. I usually don't fish side by side, I explained as now he backed into the tip of my favorite pole and it snapped in two.. Well sht, no problem I have 4 left. Hour goes by and hear this yelling, Oh Crap she is going to kill me.. He hooked a fish and left the pole on the bank and it took off.. I told him to jump in after it.. he didn't want to get wet. Oh I almost turned red........and blew my stack.. So now I feel I'm Date sitting because I can't afford to lose another pole. Now I gave him another old pole, thinking maybe he'll be more careful.. Oh No, he got board and started to pretend fly fishing with nothing on the end of the line. When I looked up to say don't do that, the end....Well it was to late the end or half my crappy pole went floating down trinity river.. At this time I really wanted to push him in the water and leave.. So I took a deep breath and gave him a Steel/brass octagon fly rod that was my grandfather, Now this I knew he couldn't break it, and he can flyfish too. Well everything was fine until the tip cam off and he shoved the end back down into rod.. Oh my god how stupid can this guy be.. Now, I called it a day and we went headed for his home. I hear this," I really don't fish". What the HiLLLLL.. came out of my mouth.. Thank god I caught about 30 trout that day. I catch and release, but I was so hot I had no words to say when I dropped him off.. Best of all he did manage to slip and go in the cold water head fist. Needless to say there wasn't a second date.

I think I was blessed with patience at least once I get to the place I want to boat or fish. I have a simple way to look at things. I pick a time to leave and if your late , I'm gone. It always works for me.. New people are always warned.. She will leave you.. All in fun of course, I swing around and get gas and come back pick them.. with the 5 second rule in mind..

Oh my God I see where that could give me some trouble.. I catch and release FISH.... NOT MEN.. The men I just leave on the back roads, It cost to much in gas to bring the men home...Ha, Ha..<br />Sorry about the word grammer I was in a hurry.. Well am glad someone is having reading fun..

I've been in this area for 9yrs and all that I found was drunkin squaw fish and a couple old beat up salmon trying spawn out of season... JUST KIDDING AROUND.. I have narrowed it down too: Do you have Boat? Do you hold a JOB? Do you have a RECORD and not talking fishing record? Are you STAIGHT? Please don't be married? And do you have your DMV report along with a Background check from the sheriff department?? Most important question, Do you know where the fish hang out at and what is good for bait?.. These are questions to ask before you get in a car or a boat.. ALL IN FUN GUYS....

BD I wish the wife was half the fisherwoman you are however I fish alone. I really hate a partner cuase they always bug you at the worst times. <br /><br />Have you built your own flyrod yet?

My favorite Questions.... Well,where are all the fish? When do you think they are biting? Did you catch anything yet? Did you get a bite? Or my Favorite one is are you done yet?, I want to go home. Fine start walking becuase I have the keys..<br />No ,I haven't built a flyrod yet.. I did however build a poor-man or hobo rod. I used a long piece of bamboo, Ducktape to put can tops on for eyes and I used dental floss for line. A rock for weight and I used a safty pin for a hook.. I saw a small tributary and had to settle my curiousity. I was about 15yrs old and had way to much time on my hands.. I did manage to catch a 10" trout. So it was worth cutting school for..OPPS

Yes duct tape - that which holds the world together.<br /> Boys we got a keeper here- a gal who loves to fish , owns a assortment of rods , will bait her own hook , and understands the value of duct tape.<br />The only thing missing is a pick up , dog , and a 6 pack.

This ones for reddog/Capt Joe<br />I got ta tell you, Ducktape held my rails on my trailor when the bolts didn't. Thank god I don't leave the house without it.<br />As for the pickup, Yes I have a 4X4 toy.<br />I don't have a dog..<br />I do however have to buy a 6-pack or a 12-pack if it is an all day trip to get my friend to take me fishing.. NOT boyfriend..<br />Me, I don't drink.. Someone has to drive the boat back..safely and I am getting tired of getting banked on the rocks..<br />PS... if a pickup, 6-pack and dog is all that it takes, send me a picture of your BOAT... <br />I'll borrow the dog and bring my truck and get a 6-pack for you... JUST TELL ME WHERE THE FISH ARE.. Oh Ya, I'll even bring some extra ducktape...<br />Just in Fun guys.. I'm just bored this fine sunday morning..

We brought home 22 barramundi weekend before last, up to 80cm & 7 kG.<br /><br />We must have dropped 3 times as many.<br /><br />But it's a long way from california. <br /><br />Forget the dog, Not the 6 pack, but I hope you have a loooong snorkel.

I forgot to add : must be under 50yrs, strong heart, good legs, can run fast and on my top list you must be able to be a good swimmer.. Becuase if we get stuck , I ain't going in the water.<br />And besides you only get beer if you know where the fish are...<br />Ha,ha..

Just becuase the fish are in the water, doesn't mean poop if you come home empty with nothing.. Plus your a driver just schedule a load to the west and you can have a beer on me.. Maybe by then my poor old tub toy will run much better.. My picture got posted, take a look in the," I got caught fishing in my neighbors pond"... I know a little about trucks too( big rigs) of course.. I know that 48 states is to many to travel through, 6 weeks is enough for me, and 3 days stuck in a truck without a shower is just plan not going to happen ever again..

That is great and funny too... I used shrimp when fishing in the bay at China Camp in Marin, ca.. Live shrimp or pileworms are great... I used to catch perch, rock cod, sand sharks, crabs, bull heads, flounders,etc when I lived in San Rafael.. I was raised in that area.. Infact I have a picture of China Camp..I went back there for Frank Quanes birthday 80yrs old, he is the last of the old boat fishermans.. Give me a minute.<br />Thanks
