Fishing Line In Propeller

I have a question about getting fishing line caught in the prop. Me and a buddy were out and one of the fishing poles was hanging off the back of the boat. The prop pulled it in a little way. So we cut the line and spun the propeller backwards. We removed all of it but maybe six inches of line that we could not get to.

Is this something that will cause me problems or is that to little of line to worry about? This is Bayliner with a 90 HP Force on it. It went in I guess where the muffler is between the propeller and lower assembly.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to remove the propeller unless there is no other choice.

Thanks

pull prop and get line out. i would check lower unit oil. line can melt itself to the prop shaft seal and damage it, this will let water in lower unit no good
