My son and I use our Lund 1750 Fisherman for fishing. He uses the seat on the forward casting deck; I use the one on the aft.

My wife and I remove all but two seats and take our two golden retrievers out for a ride. With only two seats there is lots of room for the dogs. They also like the shade from the sun top.

Sometimes my wife will go fishing with me (sans the dogs).

We are new to boating this year, so still learning a lot. Tomorrow (Tuesday), weather permitting, wife wants to learn how to load the boat onto the trailer. We know of a rarely used ramp close to home. After watching me learn and practice the intricacies of low speed maneuvering and boat loading, wife is ready to try it herself now. This will really pay off in the future (see thread "Your trailer is in line, not the boat..." in the Trailering & Towing section). Wish us luck!!

Good luck! I wish my wife were more comfortable on a boat. She loves going out on it, but I can't even get a tow on a tube from her. Again, good luck.

Well guys, you have to learn the art of shore-watching. A casual cruise up the shoreline to wave to unknown neighbors with comments about how gaudy their children's toys look on a pristine lakeshore...or how many more windows you'd have in the house if you lived there...

Without suggesting criminal activity, my shoreline cruise goes as far as I know the lake police are willing to risk their aluminum props...and not an inch further...so makes for a relaxing alternative to an after-work chit-chat on the deck.

And hey, nobody says you can't be trolling the whole way if you absolutely have to!

I use the Carolina Skiff to fish from - almost always by myself... I use the Tahoe deckboat to take my wife to her various tanning locations... Heaven forbid I'd want to ski behind it...

Work is for people that don't know how to fish!.

I use my 1977 15ft Challenger bass boat for fishing. I have never pulled a tube behind mine but a day might come where I might do it. Only time I'm on the water and not fishing is when I'm testing a boat out.

The poll said "primary" so I clicked pleasure boating. I have a tinny for fishing, but it hasn't even been out this season. My main squeeze is primarily used for cruising around and hangin' out. We do pull tubes, skis and wakeboards and we also fish sometimes although with a carpeted boat I really discourage it. The boys also spearfish some . . .

We do a lot of every thing but serious fishing................although we do wet a line from the boat from time to time.

We use our Lowe aluminum bass boat for fishing and our Hurricane Deckboat for running to the sunnin spots. We love them both.
