fishing rod blowouts

i heard that shakespear goes around in the spring and has big sales on rods and equipment. the one i was wandering about is in the spring at columbia fairgrounds in sc. has anyone heard of this and maybe know there schedule.

richiej, Shakespear does have a yard sale here every spring. Usually around the middle of march. They sale a lot of seconds in rods and reels, but also sale some 1st quality stuff also.<br />I have seen tackle shop and flea market people show up with 55 gal drums strapped to dollies and load up on rods. I go every year to pick up a couple of rods and reels. Last year I got 2 7' ugley stick rods and skp4000 reels for 25.00 a set.You do have to check all items over good to make sure there are not any serious defects. Bring 2-300 $$ and you can load up.<br />Michael
