Moved the old boat this weekend and thought of this thread

life got in the way of life.

about a dozen frogs are living under the cover on the boat. time to get serious and strip the interior and sand the exterior.

Are you gonna " rehome" the frogs ?

they got rehomed from the Rogue to the small boat, so pretty sure I will be looking for ceramic "frog houses" LOL

With the rainy season here. going to make new canvas bows for the boat. been meaning to for about 3 years now.

getting tired of water pooling in the canvas.

really need to sand the boat down and repaint it.

So spent some time cleaning out a portion of the garage. Found the canvas bow brackets I bought for the boat.... At least 8 years ago.

Pulled the canvas back, and Florida humidity and frogs claimed the 3 bench seat tops

Fixed the canvas to keep water from pooling

Measured up the boards. I should have some drop from a project at work using PVC foam board.

I'm guessing a full restoration project is in the works. Going to wait for the temp to drop below mid 90s and the dew point to come off of 78......

Like November.

Last time I fished with my dad was in 1974. That was pretty much the last time I fished, cause he had told me I now had to clean what I caught, and since I always tossed my cookies, I hung up the pole.
