fit help please

im looking at a 23p 3-blade quicksilver prop to replace my 21p laserII which has my motor revving too high.question is,i have a 1988 xr4 merc blackmax 150.i kinda think i remember that this is slightly different than other mercs,dimensions wise.can someone confirm or deny this and also if it is different,does that just mean a new hub for the prop or does only certain props fit?thanks in advance. The number on the prop im looking at is #48-13704-23,the one now on my motor is 48-1654A45 21p hope it helps.

the reason i ask is that i was looking at props on ebay and out of all i looked at,one said fits all v6 outboards EXCEPT xr4.i have an xr4! again is there a reason for this that would hinder me from getting a prop?if it needs re hubbed,fine but is there a bigger issue?

If no one seems to be able to help; look up props here for your XR4 and other V6s
and note those that have interchangeable hubs.see if the numbers are different.
You might note if the prop numbers them selves are different.
