FITCH fuel problem

I am having trouble with the fuel system on my 2001 Evinrude 150hp FITCH motor. The primer bulb will not stay hard and the motor runs it self out of fuel after 20 to 30 minutes at idle. Faster at higher RPMs.

I have checked for pinched fuel lines and have taken the filler cap off of the filler tube so I know there is no venting problem in the tank. When the motor starts to sputter I can squeeze the primer bulb 5 or 6 times and it will idle for a while longer.

Does this sound like the low pressure fuel pump / lift pump?
The serial # starts with a "G", so I think it takes 2002 parts?

Have you checked the anti-siphon valve on the fuel tank? It is located within the fitting at the top of the fuel pickup to which you connect the fuel line.
