FIXED
Brought all my diagnostic tools, but didn't need them.
it was either the spark plug gap (I doubt it, but have been re-gapped to .030), or the pinched hose..
I changed out the hose and made it so it wouldn't get pinched again and today it ran as it normally does.
Jumped on plane as it usually does, ..running 40+ at 4600 and had more throttle to give if I wanted to. At 27 MPH it was running just shy of 4 mpg.
took out the plugs to see the condition...they are about even between port side and starboard...even the starboard side seems less wet than usual. The port side is no longer very dry. Both sides have a nice brown tinge to the inside ceramic.
