Making hydraulic trim tabs in a fixed position. Would like to go with a turnbuckle from transom to SS planer. I don't see anything that I am comfortable with. Plenty of turnbuckles on the market, but not sure about the recommended method of attaching the hardware. Thanks all.

Fixed position will keep the nose down. What about heavier seas?

Re: fixed position trim tabs

Not going to be running in any heavy seas. This boat has 2 outboards, which control most of the trim. The tabs havn't been moved in years and were down about 2 inches and was perfect for reaching plane but not much effect on running attitude. The tab system currently on the vessel are Trim Master and have sprung a leak which caused the tabs in the full up position. Not really interested in replacing the motor/pump system to Bennett. Thanks
