How much for this motor ?----I have always wanted a " belch fire special " to add to my collection.

You know these 80's flame throwers don't come cheap! Plus now that I know you need one to round out your collection....lol

just make sure when rebuilding the primer solenoid valve you screw down the top piece with the red valve away from the main body, so that when you screw it in and turn the lever it doesn't shift.

Thanks for the heads up. I know what you mean too...that little "pin" that sticks up and sits in the groove. That threw me off when I was checking the old one and tried to put it back together! Luckily I didn't break that thing off! Like a dope:facepalm: I started trying to push that valve in with the end cover screwed in. I just thought the o-ring was a really tight fit! Not so much...:lol:.

I think you would find that most of these motors will belch flames if run without the lower unit on them.----All normal.

no worries been there done that. if you install it with the lever in-line with the body, it doesnt seat right and will feel super loose and probably leak. the service manual has a pretty good "what not to do" section on it haha
