Anyone know what kind of coils i can use to replace the coils in a Fleet Scott 14.1. Since the one's for the motor just don't seem to exist. The one i did find was like stupid money. There has to be something i can use in place of the originals without raping the bank.

You might be able to put an OMC coil on the laminate. Are you sure the coil is bad? Those motors had excellent coils and seldom went bad.

The one coil is still good. The other melted.

Looks like the same setup on my Firestone and I used OMC coils I had in the shop. Worked great
