Has anyone tried this on Aluminum??? It works great on a demo at bed and Bath no leaks thru a aluminum mesh strainer after days and wont chip rub off or peal . Its a spray can and sets up quickly .Used it on a gutter that has leaked for months and is hasent leaped yet they say its also paintable. Ber great for our boats if it holds up. costa about 13 a can and will cover 200 sq. feet. Pugetsound NOTE chec k out Bed Bath And BEyond if you have one in your area its $13 a can, way less than the advertised price on TV. check the web site for ( Flex Seal )

Maybe it's just me, but I'm not buying boat repair supplies at Bed, Bath and Beyond. :D

I did see one of their commercials where they hacked the bottom out of a tinny, screwed a screen door in place , coated it with Flex Seal and it floated away...

I also thought HMMMMMMM..Boat? when I saw the TV commercial.
There was a thread in non boating questions a month are so back and while nobody bought and used it, they said it was the same stuff as the pasti-dip, which is much cheaper..

I may try it on the 14 ftr....

LOL -- I only mentioned Bed Bath and Beyons as its the only place I have seen it other than on TV commercials. I have a few unfixable aluminum gutters that leak. think Ill give them a shot , with it as we sure get enough rain here to test it. Pugetsound
