im posting here in general, for basic info and tutorial purposes. for all new members and viewers not signed on yet.
a more detailed instruction can be found in resto......
easy way to flip a hull....
i dont suggest this be done with a motor in the boat.
place boat between two trees
(im using a deck truck with electric winch and a fork lift. but two trees and a come-a-long will do just fine)
attach a line to the bow eye.....
and a line to the transom eye hooks....(im doing a resto, and i just bolted a single eye hook there for this flip .(join a line between the two, and then hook on to a mainline.....kinda like a ski rope)
pull tight........the balance point between the bow eye, and the transom will determine the ease of the flip.....get the right balance point, and you can flip it with one finger.
the cap is off the boat. but a hull can be flipped with the cap on
a much more detailed version is on the "hull extension in progress with pics" thread in the restoration forum.

the hull flip is used for major bottom repairs, most easy scrapes and scuffs can be fixed right on the trailer.
cheers
