flo torque thrust washer with black max prop

can i run a black max series prop with the solid front with a thrust washer from a flo torque hub i think they are the same thickness.

The thrust washer has to be step to be able to seat into the hub cavity. You can use the flat thrust washer only on the mercury props that have press in rubber hub.

the thrust i have is stepped and fits in the prop it just overall is about an 1/8 inch smaller in diameter than the inside of the prop. will that matter it doesnt look like it will

That should be fine for testing, but for long term use get the one is for it. It should fit snugg so theirs no play.
