My float rise was set flush from top of float to bowl surface, float drop was about as for down as it could go without hitting the bowl. I now have the float rise at 1/8" from top of float to bowl surface, float drop is at 5/16" from same points. I have not tried this setting yet. This is what my book said to set them at but my book is also for all hp. force engines. There is not a whole lot of range of motion set per book. Before I re-set them, the carbs were leeking quite a bit of fuel from the front by the choke. The Needle and seat are in good shape (cant change the seat, pressed in.) I am waiting for new gaskets to try the new settings. Any suggestions on the correct settings and could my original setting cause the flooding?
