Floatation question.

I am restoring a 1988 ThunderCraft 162 Regency. What were the floatation requirements in 1988 for a 16 ft pleasure craft? Is there a bunch of foam under the sole?

Level flotation.....so if the boat was completely swamped and filled with water.....it would still remain on the surface of the water. There is probably foam anyplace they could put it.

Yes, below deck between the deck and the hull it should be foamed.
