so...I have been thinking..if I flood the bilge in my boat for extra weight, is that a good idea? I would be thinking a few inches of water should weigh her down by at least a couple hundred pounds....

Have you also been thinking what that sloshing around water is going to do to your starter solenoids or any other electrical engine components that hang down into the bilge?

Terrible idea.... use a fat sac designed to hold water, or find a fat chick and sit her *** in the back... lol.

Yea, I second that as being a terrible idea. There's a reason for bilge pumps. Now a "fat chick" I'm not sure I'd agree with that being a good idea either :D but better than flooding the bilge I guess.

If you go straight only on a flat day. Sure?
Fat chicks slosh around too ;)

There's plenty of ways to test whether or not you want Ballast, where you want it and how to achieve it.
Get creative. Again.

Avoid Solid weight in any mass quantities. It will sink your boat if something happens to make you take on water. Water weight becomes neuturally bouyant should something happen.

I had to read this a couple of times........very bad idea. Get a case of beer and a bunch of friends. Have 3 sit in the bow and trim up a little. You'll be suprised.

Just my 0.02, going to buy my first wakeboard soon, so I am a wakeboard rookie but.......

Not just no.
Hell no.

I have been fighting for a month to get my bilge dry to avoid the damage moisture causes. You have a dry boat and put water in it. Man, thats like when I see a dude with hair on his head make it look stupid. I angle my nugget to get some sun glare in his face :)

Your post is asking if you should "Flood Your Bilge"

???????!!!!!!!!!

Buy ballast bags........please dont flood your bilge
If you really dont want to spend the $ one of my buddies took like 5 contractor clean-up heavy duty bags, put them all inside each other and filled them with the garden hose and put them in his center locker...it worked and didnt leak at all! - Not sure if I would reccomend it though
