first post in a while, freshly rebuilt carbs on my 1989 OMC 1.6l seadrive. problem I’m having is fuel keeps flooding out inside of carb throats. I’m wondering if I set the floats wrong on the carbs, or possibly a bad primer Solenoid? Is there a way to troubleshoot and rule out the primer solenoid? thanks.

Thanks for the reply Racerone, the red lever is inline with the body and it seems no matter where it is it wants to leak.

In my opinion floats rarely need to be adjusted.-----But if carburetors are leaking you need to take them apart again.

If you had to adjust the carb floats , might you have left out the gasket under the needle seat valve.? As racerones says......
take apart again.

Thanks for all the replies, managed to stop fuel flow from out of carb and reassembled now the problem I have is when the primer is engaged fuel refuses to go into carbs and sprays out of the base of the red lever on the solonoid, can’t seem to figure out what is causing it to do so.
