In the posting, Floor and Stringer Replacement, some replies said that it's not a good idea to replace the floor and stringer while the boat is sitting on a trailer, especially a trailer with rollers.
I am replacing the rear section of floor on my 17' Cobalt bowrider and repairing the stringers and one bulkhead. It weighs 2700 pounds sitting on a roller trailer in my backyard. How would I take a 2700 pound boat off the trailer? How would I get it back on? I'll add some photos when it stops raining.
