Floor plan question

Question for North Beach. On my 22 Holiday 1975 is it feasable or possible to cut into the floor and install two floor boxes?? One for fish the other for a livewell. There is pleanty of room, I think, but I have no Idea how the floor was installed. Sure be nice to have. I Caught a 27 one half pound Chinook in the Sound by myself Tuesday this week.

PS, Go back to my build thread and check out the pics when we installed the foam. You do have some room right down the center of the boat. With the two full length stringers and the deep vee there isn't much room on the sides. I don't know if there's enough room to do what you want and you'll have to make that decision. I know I've been really wishing I had installed under deck fuel cells in mine.

Thank you for the quick response. I will research it now that I can see whats there with some of the floor removed. I have a ton of room now bit need to clear the deck, as I get company all summer. I have a boat supply dealer that has floor boxes at a good price right now. Our boating industry has sure been hiy hard with the economy. 5 dealers in this area closed there doors.
